What We Do
Comprehensive Substance Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation (CSTAR)
Developed by the Department of Mental Health (DMH) and funded by Missouri’s Medicaid program and DMH's purchase-of-service system, the Comprehensive Substance Treatment and Rehabilitation (CSTAR) Program provides a full continuum of care approach to substance use disorder treatment. CSTAR offers a flexible combination of clinical and supportive services that vary in duration and intensity depending on the needs of the consumer. The Heartland Center for Behavioral Change CSTAR programs offer outpatient treatment and inpatient detoxification services to adult men and women with substance use disorder problems.
